In the Saratov region, consumer prices in March 2024 increased by 0.20% compared to February 2024, and by 1.66% compared to December 2023. Saratovstat reports this.
Compared to December last year, the consumer price index increased by 2.2% for food and by 2.3% for services. Non-food products rose in price by 0.3%.
During this period, the prices of fruits and vegetables increased the most, including potatoes (+9%) and butter (+3%). Sunflower, on the contrary, fell in price by 3%.
Among non-food products in March, compared to December, the prices that rose the most were medicines (+1.8%) and motor fuel (+1.2%), while electrical and television and radio products showed a slight decrease.
Services in the field of foreign tourism increased in price by 22%, insurance – by 21%.
