On the Tyumen highway, five people were injured in an accident with an ambulance and a KamAZ. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

A serious accident involving an ambulance in which the patient was located occurred on the Yekaterinburg-Tyumen highway. At the 318th kilometer of the road, a medical vehicle collided with a KamAZ. The regional traffic police department told the Tyumen Region Today correspondent about the incident.

According to preliminary data, the truck driver, who showed signs of intoxication, violated the rules for changing lanes. The impact caused the ambulance to overturn.

– Among the victims are the driver of the medical vehicle, three medical workers and a 77-year-old patient. They were provided with the necessary assistance – reported to the State Traffic Inspectorate.

The circumstances of the accident are being clarified, and traffic inspectors are working at the scene. Traffic on this section of the highway is not difficult.
