In Vladimir they decided to rename a public transport stop.
On April 24, a meeting of the Vladimir City Council of Deputies took place. During the event, deputies faced the question of renaming one of the stops in the city. The report was made by Sergei Sysuev, deputy head of the city administration.
Thus, it was proposed to call the stop, which is located at the intersection of Zhuravlikha and Landyshevaya streets in the Lunevo microdistrict, “Zhuravlikha Street”.
At the moment the stop is called “Lunevo – Zhuravlikha Street”. There is only one bus to the stop – 13C.
Earlier, Vladimir News reported that soon the owner of the Globus hypermarket will be required to report to residents for drifters in the parking lot. This proposal was made by Evgeny Stanchev, deputy of the 15th city district.
Also during the city council, Vladimir deputies became concerned about the number of migrants in the city, and also during his report for 2023, Ilya Isachenko cited statistics on violations of migration legislation. Based on the results of the activities carried out, 233 cases of fictitious registration of foreign citizens for migration were identified, as a result of which 54 criminal cases were initiated.
In July 2023, it became known that the names of public transport stops in Vladimir would change. At the 50th meeting of the Vladimir city council, a decision was approved to rename some bus stops, our own correspondent reported from the scene.
