“At the last competition, I qualified for the European Championship, which will be held in Romania,” says Nikita Bushman. “All the opponents were strong, and each of them had a tough fight.

Bushman has been involved in this sport for 12 years. Now he is a master of sports of Russia with a black belt (2nd dan). He won the All-Russian “Moscow Cayman” competition, twice became a prize-winner of the Russian Cup and participated in the World Championship.

“Thanks to karate, a person develops an inner core from childhood, which strengthens with further development of skills,” says the athlete. – In martial art, it is not so much the technique that is important, but the spirit, so it is important to be hardworking.

The main emphasis in Kyokushin is on work in fights that are fought with full contact with the opponent without the use of protective equipment. That is why Kyokushin is considered one of the toughest styles of karate. Athletes work on reaction, speed, strength and endurance in order to get out of fights without injuries, reports the press service of SamSTU.
