He noted that part of the money – 200 million – will be used to modernize technical means of organizing traffic, including artificial road humps.

The city received another 1.1 billion under the national project.

“As for the 14 objects under the BKD, which have already been awarded and to which the contractors are immediately starting, preparatory work is now underway – this is about 20 km. Taking into account this additional funding, we will renew more than 60 km of roads this year,” said the guest of the program.

Klemeshov emphasized that in the coming season more funds will be invested in sidewalks. Last year 250 million were allocated for these purposes, this year 300 million rubles.

During major road works, the level of lawns is lowered – this is necessary to combat dust in the city. The mayor’s office plans to launch a pilot project to repair areas adjacent to the roadsides. They will strengthen the soil and grass cover to prevent the ground from sliding during precipitation.
