Three streets were blocked in Kirov due to flooding

The peak flood in the region is expected before May 1.

In Kirov, three sections of streets were blocked due to the flood of the Vyatka River. The traffic restriction has been in effect since April 25. The city mayor’s office issued a corresponding resolution.

Thus, from Thursday, traffic is prohibited along Lunacharsky Street: from Permskaya to Bronnikov, along Lesozavodskaya Street: from building 1b to Pristanskaya Street, and traffic is also blocked along Permskaya Street: from Fabrichny Proezd to Lunacharsky.

The city administration reported that during the day the water in the Vyatka River rose by 10 centimeters and its level reached 381 centimeters from the zero point.
