In Volgograd, there has been a motorized platoon of the State Traffic Inspectorate since 2013. Its employees ensure road safety for motorcyclists and suppress gross violations of traffic rules. Excessive speed, lack of protective equipment and necessary documents are the most common reasons for administrative penalties for careless motorcyclists.
On April 20, the traditional citywide opening of the motorcycle season took place. According to tradition, the opening of the motorcycle season in our city took place on the Lower Terrace of the embankment, where in the fresh air, surrounded by comrades and their iron horses, motorcycle enthusiasts talked with representatives of the State Traffic Inspectorate.
In addition to motorcycles, today on the roads of our city there are scooters, mopeds and bikes, including those driven by teenagers. State Traffic Inspectorate employees remind all parents to prevent minors from attempting to drive vehicles on their own. Closely monitor children’s leisure time and do not allow them to have access to the keys to mopeds and motorcycles. After all, road safety is a common concern.
