The anniversary of coach Lyudmila Tikhomirova will be celebrated in Astrakhan

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the famous coach and founder of the Astrakhan school of rhythmic gymnastics Lyudmila Tikhomirova, on May 27, a gala concert of ballet stars “It All Starts with Love” will take place on the main stage of AGTOiB.
The concert-offering dedicated to the memory of the Honored Coach of the USSR in rhythmic gymnastics and Honorary Citizen of Astrakhan will feature a star couple – Honored Artist of Russia, Premier of the Bolshoi Theater Artyom Ovcharenko and granddaughter of Lyudmila Alexandrovna – first soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Anna Tikhomirova. Their colleagues on the main stage of the country will take part in the gala concert: first soloist Denis Zakharov, a native of Astrakhan, soloist Anastasia Denisova, ballet dancer Dmitry Dorokhov, as well as soloists of the ballet troupe AGTOiB.
Famous guests will present duets and scenes from famous classical ballets and the best examples of modern choreography to the Astrakhan public. The concert program includes concert numbers created in different genres and performances by students of the Tikhomirova Olympic Reserve Sports School.
For the first time, Astrakhan ballet fans will see famous ballet numbers choreographed by Radu Poklitaru, Vyacheslav Gordeev, Kasyan Goleizovsky, Boris Myagkov.
