Volunteers of the Moscow Refinery held a month of improvement

Volunteers of the Moscow Refinery, together with residents of Kapotnya, took part in citywide cleanup days as part of a month of cleaning up territories in the capital. During the work, pedestrian paths, squares and lawns in Kapotnya were put in order. The event was supported by the Gazprom Neft social investment program “Hometowns”.

More than 300 people took part in the action. Workers collected leaves from city squares and cleaned the area near monuments to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Volunteers washed equipment at sports and children’s playgrounds and arranged the shore of the pond, which is a favorite recreation spot for residents.

Participation in community cleanups is a tradition that Moscow Refinery workers have been supporting for more than 85 years, since the founding of the enterprise. Volunteers help with landscaping and landscaping in Kapotnya. Over the past 10 years, 100 environmental events have taken place in the South-Eastern Administrative District, and about 6.5 thousand trees and shrubs have been planted.
