The supervisory agency in Samara won a court case against the Samara Department of Transport regarding claims related to insufficient security in the Samara metro. This became known from a message from S. Markin, head of the department of transport.

According to Markin, his department considers the demands put forward by the prosecutor’s office to be fully justified. But there is a nuance. To ensure the entire range of measures to ensure the safety of the metro, an amount of one billion rubles is needed. But there is no such money.

An intelligent video surveillance system will be installed at one station this year. It is planned to spend sixty-four million rubles allocated for this year on this. In total, there are twenty-one infrastructure facilities in our metro, for which there is a plan of necessary measures. In addition, there are not enough people, Volga News reports.
