Snowfall covered Yekaterinburg on the night of April 25. Before this, for several days the temperature in the city was more than 28 degrees Celsius, writes E1.RU.
Due to sub-zero temperatures, snow cover formed on the ground. At the same time, over the past week the air temperature in the city was 10–15 degrees above normal, the Ural Hydrometeorological Center reported.
On April 20, the air in the capital of the Urals warmed up to 28.6 degrees, which is only 0.2 degrees below the absolute record recorded on April 18, 2012.
According to forecasters, there will be no warming until the end of the working week. On April 26, the temperature will not rise above 4 degrees.
