Moscow. 25th of April. INTERFAX.RU – Russia’s international reserves as of April 19 amounted to $603.2 billion, the Bank of Russia reported.

As of April 12, international reserves were equal to $600.7 billion. Thus, they increased by $2.5 billion over the week.

International reserves are highly liquid financial assets at the disposal of the Bank of Russia and the government. They consist of foreign currency assets, monetary gold, special drawing rights (SDR, special drawing rights, a unit of account used by the International Monetary Fund), a reserve position in the IMF and other reserve assets.
