The opening of water passenger transportation in the region was discussed today during an operational meeting chaired by the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, Mikhail Evraev. On intraregional and urban water lines, navigation starts in late April – early May.
“We pay special attention to the development of river infrastructure, expansion of the route network, and support of navigation,” said Mikhail Evraev. – Now it is necessary to speed up the installation of berths. Last year they made a pier at the Tolga Monastery. By the time navigation begins, we will open another one here, for small vessels. We are completing the construction of a berth on the right bank of Tutaev, and a contractor has also been identified for the construction of berths in Khopylev and on the left bank of Tutaev. We plan to complete the work by July.
In 2025, according to the governor, universal pontoon berths will also appear in Uglich, Myshkin, Poshekhonye, Breitov and on Lake Nero in Rostov.
From April 28, transportation will start on routes from the river station to Tolga and to Vakarev, as well as Yaroslavl – Novye Chentsy. From May 9, the Yaroslavl – Konstantinovo route will open. All transportation will be carried out by motor ships “Moscow”. Navigation in the Rybinsk direction on the route Rybinsk – Kolkhoznik on the motor ship “Moskovsky-7” will begin on May 9. Transportation by motor ship MO-513 Perebory – Yurshino will start on May 1.
New procedures are planned to be carried out on the route Yaroslavl – Breytovo in the near future.
In addition, in the regional center this spring it will be possible to ride along the Volga on a modern electric catamaran produced in Yaroslavl, Beloyar. It will operate daily pleasure and excursion flights from the river station.
