The author, photo artist Sergei Kolyaskin, will be present at the presentation on April 26
April 19 at the Kurgan Regional Art Museum named after. G.A. Travnikov opened a photo exhibition of the State Historical Museum of the Southern Urals (Chelyabinsk) entitled “Strength in Truth” (16+)
The exhibition presents the works of the photographer, head of the photo heritage department of the Historical Museum, Sergei Kolyaskin, who traveled to the combat zone eight times and visited many sectors of the front: Donetsk, Kupyansk, Izyum, Mariupol, Melitopol, Novaya Kakhovka, Volnovakha, Kherson.
“The viewer will see through the eyes of a photographer the events that take place in the liberated and front-line territories,” the museum said in a statement.
On April 26 at 13:00 the author is expected at the presentation of the exhibition. He will share the stories behind the photographs.
The exhibition is on display until May 12.
