Investigators look into the shooting of a teenager in Segezha | Petrozavodsk SPEAKS | Newspaper “Petrozavodsk” online

After an unknown person fired at a teenager in Segezha, investigators organized a procedural check. They regard the incident as hooliganism, the Investigative Committee’s Investigative Directorate for the region reported.

The shot from a pneumatic gun was fired on the evening of April 23 by an unidentified person. A bullet hit a 15-year-old teenager who was walking on the street with a friend.

The minor was hospitalized and had an abrasion on his forehead. This bodily injury was classified as not causing harm to health. The child was sent home.

Investigators examined the scene and seized video footage from outdoor surveillance cameras. They establish the circumstances of the incident and, based on the results of the inspection, will make a procedural decision. // photo: unsplash.com
