Nizhny Novgorod earned 10.9 million rubles from paid parking since the beginning of the year

10.9 million rubles went to the budget of Nizhny Novgorod in the first quarter of 2024 for the use of paid parking lots. DOMOSTROYNN.RU was informed about this by the mayor’s office.

According to the city administration, in the first quarter of 2023 the city received 4.3 million rubles. Thus, Nizhny Novgorod’s income from paid parking increased by 2.5 times.

In addition, in 2024, in the capital of the Volga region, 21,452 decisions were issued for illegal parking and fines of 37.1 million rubles were imposed. It should be noted that taking into account the payment of fines issued at the end of last year 2023, the city received 37.5 million rubles.

Previously, DOMOSTROYNN.RU reported that the project to expand the parking lot near the Nizhny Novgorod Switzerland Park is under consideration by the state examination. Residents of houses next to the park complain that guests of “Switzerland” leave their cars in the courtyards and park on the lawns. In this regard, it was decided to create parking pockets near the park.
