On April 27, a new tourist season opens in the Orenburg region. Eco-trails and excursions in the Orenburgsky nature reserve, as well as events in the art space of the Essen museum courtyard, will become available. From May 10 to 12, the first race along the national tourist route “Discovery Horizons” will take place. In the summer, tourists will be welcomed by the Salt Lakes resort in the city of Sol-Iletsk.
In the nature reserve “Orenburgsky“Groups are already being formed for the eco-trails “Breath of the Steppe”, “Path to the Heron”, “Where the Beaver Lives”. Together with a guide, travelers will go to the acclimatization pens of the Przewalski Horse Reintroduction Center, visit the endless valley of the Kolubay gully, and see the Red Book Schrenck tulip. The reserve’s staff will show you the life of beavers and how the area has changed since their arrival; Kainar spring, which even before the creation of the reserve had the status of a natural monument.
In the Orenburg museum courtyard “Essen» On April 28, at the first lecture they will talk about the personality of Governor Pyotr Kirillovich Essen, in whose honor the courtyard is named. An amateur photo-drying session “Orenburg Motifs” will take place.
On April 28, the first group this year will set off along the route “Seven Peaks of the Steppe Urals.” Tourists from the Perm Territory, Chelyabinsk Region, and Moscow will walk through picturesque steppe valleys, along the tops of ridges, and floodplain forests. The route unites the advanced folds of the ancient Ural Mountains, the Karamurun-Tau ridge, which passes to the south into the tract of the Nogai or Long Mountains. The Buzuluksky Bor National Park is preparing to welcome tourists during the summer tourist season from the second half of May. Now a year-round sanatorium and resort complex continues to operate here.
In 2023, the Orenburg region was visited by more than 1.1 million tourists.
