The attackers fraudulently stole money from Smolensk residents when they bought goods on the Internet.
A 47-year-old resident of Smolensk wanted to buy a computer processor on a popular website. However, after transferring more than 7 thousand, he did not receive the goods.
A similar incident occurred with a 35-year-old woman. She wanted to buy an air conditioner on the website and contacted a fake seller. The fraudster took possession of her card details and stole more than 45 thousand from her.
Also, while buying wood materials, a 25-year-old resident of Yartsev came across remote scammers and lost more than 78 thousand.
