Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kaluga Region invited the Orion special forces detachment of the Russian Guard to go through their obstacle course. The experimental exchange of experience took place as part of the celebration of the department’s upcoming birthday: 375 years since the founding of the fire department.

The training took place at the fire and rescue department in Mstikhino: a special complex was built here several years ago. It simulates the difficult situations a firefighter might find himself in in a burning building.

These include cramped rooms, a tangle of wires, and burnt floors.

First, the Orion fighters were given detailed instructions, after which the National Guard set off to storm the obstacle course. It wasn’t easy, but the group managed it and earned a solid “B” from the firefighters.

The experiment was considered successful: the special forces noted that such training in unexpected conditions is very useful. Now they are waiting for firefighters to visit us: we are ready to conduct a training session for them at our training ground.
