City competitions among minors “Through Hardships to the Stars” were held in Saratov. The competition program, in which 7 teams of 6 people each took part, consisted of several stages.

In the legal quiz, the children had to answer questions prepared by SSLA students. During the sports relay race, the participants demonstrated physical skills and demonstrated their best qualities – agility, speed, dexterity and intelligence. The most emotional was the last stage of the competition, in which the teams competed in tug of war. The panel of judges included employees of the personnel department and inspectors of the juvenile affairs units of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Saratov.

The participants demonstrated excellent preparation and the will to win; the leaders were determined after a bitter struggle. Thus, the first place was won by the team from the Kirov district, the second place went to the participants from the team from the village of Solnechny, the third step of the podium was taken by the guys representing the Oktyabrsky district of Saratov.

The winners were awarded diplomas from the organizers of the event and sweet gifts from representatives of the Public Council at the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Saratov. Also, all competition participants were given invitation cards to the Saratov Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
