On May 5, a gala show “Favorite songs about the main thing” will take place in St. Petersburg. Outstanding Russian figure skaters Roman Kostomarov and Alexey Yagudin will perform at the Ice Palace. It is known that Kostomarov will sing and Yagudin will skate. TASS was told about this in the press office of the organizers.

“Roman Kostomarov will sing, and Alexey Yagudin will skate. The sensational number will be presented on May 5 in St. Petersburg, at the gala show “Favorite songs about the main thing” at the Ice Palace. The gala concert on ice of the St. Petersburg Ice Theater, directed by Ilya Averbukh, is dedicated to favorite, iconic songs of the 20th century – from the war and post-war years right up to the 2000s – and is timed to coincide with May 1 and 9,” the statement says.

Spectators will hear cult songs. They will be able to sing along to the legendary “Katyusha” and dance to the songs of the “Technology” group. Kostomarov will sing Igor Kornelyuk’s hit “The City That Doesn’t Exist.”

The show will also feature actress, singer and TV presenter Yulia Parshuta, musical soloist Kirill Gordeev, Honored Artist of Tatarstan, soloist of the Central Orchestra of the National Guard Troops Albert Zhalilov, soloist of St. Petersburg musical theaters Daria Grigorieva, actors and singers Evgenia Ryabtseva and Ruslan Ivakin.

According to the organizers, most of the program was staged specifically for showing in St. Petersburg.
