The sisters of the Kurgan Orthodox service “Mercy” made another trip to the temporary accommodation center for residents affected by the flood, which was located at school No. 55. At the moment, there are 64 people in the temporary temporary detention facility.
According to the press service of the Kurgan diocese, the evacuees received 35 items of clothing from the Mercy sisters, 12 bottles of shampoo, 25 tubes of toothpaste and 100 buns from a Kurgan entrepreneur-philanthropist.
Elder Sister of Mercy Tatiana Mezentseva conducts individual work with a large family from the Glinka microdistrict, who now lives in a temporary temporary detention center – both the people’s house and the place of work of the breadwinner-husband were flooded. Also, a mother of many children, Yulia, whose house in the Cheremukhovo microdistrict was flooded to the roof, turned to the Humanitarian Aid Center at the Port Arthur Church for help; her family lives with relatives. Service employees also provided Yulia with food, hygiene products and bedding.
