The Vygonichsky District Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to the accused of inciting a serviceman to voluntarily surrender (Part 4 of Article 33, Article 352.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to investigators, at the end of May 2023, the person involved in the case, maintaining SMS correspondence with a serviceman taking part in a special military operation, through persuasion and persuasion, persuaded the latter to voluntarily surrender to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Illegal activities were identified and suppressed by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Bryansk region.

The criminal case is being investigated by the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Bryansk Region.
