Work to replace outdoor lighting in Murmansk is being carried out ahead of schedule. 5 thousand of the planned 10 thousand modern energy-saving lamps have already been replaced, the city administration reported.

The work is scheduled to be completed in June.

The lamps are installed on sections of the road network, public areas and areas of apartment buildings.

In addition, the city has installed 12 lighting sensors – 4 in each district. They will automatically adjust street lighting depending on the light level.
