The All-Russian Tourist Congress in Kirov will be annual

The “Gateway of the Russian North” tourism congress in Kirov will become an annual event. This year it was held for the first time on April 23 and 24, TASS reports.

More than 400 representatives of the tourism industry from more than 30 regions of the country took part in the congress. About 80 federal experts spoke at the event, the publication clarifies. Representatives from different regions shared the best practices for territorial development and outlined ways to resolve the personnel issue in the hospitality industry. Based on the results of the congress, a road map will be created in the region. It will become the basis for the tourism development strategy in the Kirov region until 2030.

It was previously known that Thailand has extended the period of visa-free stay for Russians.
