On Thursday, April 25, in the morning near the village of Orlovka near Sevastopol, the driver of a Japanese crossover drove a small car off the road. Details of the incident were reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

According to preliminary data, the 66-year-old driver of a Toyota RAV4 was moving from the village of Orlovka towards Belbek. At the right curve of the road, he drove into the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming Kia Rio car driven by a 29-year-old driver.

As a result of the collision, the car flew into a ditch and crashed into a tree growing on the side of the road. The Korean driver was injured.

An investigation into the accident involving the victim is underway.

Accidents in the oncoming lane quite often occur in Sevastopol. So, on Saturday evening, April 20, a drunk driver of an Opel did not cope control and collided at speed with an oncoming passenger car, the driver and passenger of which received injuries of varying degrees of severity.

A day earlier, driving into the oncoming lane on Pozharova Street and colliding with a VAZ car became fatal for the driver of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He died from his injuries in the ambulance.
