On Thursday, April 25, on the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Tula Guards Airborne Division, with the participation of the United Russia party, cargo was formed for the needs of the North Military District participants.

To hand it over to representatives of the Airborne Forces, participants in the preliminary party vote gathered – secretary of the regional branch of United Russia, chairman of the Tula Regional Duma Nikolai Vorobyov, head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front Elena Shmeleva, combat veteran, retired police general Sergei Galkin, representative of the party’s volunteer center Pavel Astafiev, Young Guard activists.

“On the instructions of the Governor of the Tula Region, Alexei Gennadievich Dyumin, the regional branch of the United Russia party, together with the Government of the Tula Region, the Popular Front, social partners and concerned citizens, continues to provide assistance to the participants of the SVO,” noted Nikolai Vorobyov. “On the eve of the anniversary of our illustrious division, it was decided to provide tangible support to our valiant paratroopers, whose exploits and courage we are increasingly learning from reports from federal television channels. Together we tried to form the next large cargo for the needs of soldiers and officers. Our task is to do everything in our power to help the guys fight and win! And this work will continue.”

The funds for the formation of the cargo, containing dozens of different items and names of things needed at the front, were accumulated by the regional charitable foundation “We Don’t Abandon Our Own,” whose resources are replenished through donations from citizens and organizations. Together we managed to collect more than 75 million rubles. Thanks to this, summer camouflage suits, rubber boots, chainsaws, camp baths, cooking utensils, electric generators, quadcopters, signal amplifiers, drone jammers, tools, motor pumps and other military and household products necessary for our defenders in combat conditions were purchased for the paratroopers. actions.

“Raising funds for defenders of the Motherland brings together deputies and social activists, representatives of business and enterprises, pensioners and young people – everyone is trying to make their contribution,” says Pavel Astafiev, president of the “We Don’t Abandon Our Own” foundation. “Every ruble went towards supporting soldiers fighting for peace and Russia’s national interests.”

“We are very proud that the legendary 106th Airborne Division is stationed in the hero city of Tula; it has proven that it is one of the best formations of the Russian army,” said Elena Shmeleva. – Tula paratroopers are capable of completing any combat mission; they honorably continue the traditions of our veterans and front-line soldiers and serve as an example for young people. For almost two years, the “Everything for Victory 71” project has been implemented in the region, and thanks to caring citizens, we are able to significantly help the front, and this time we are also donating a car for the soldiers – a UAZ “Patriot.”

Much work to provide assistance to Northern Military District soldiers and their families is being carried out by the United Russia party at the federal legislative level. Just yesterday, the next report of the working group on SVO was sent to the President. In it, in particular, it is proposed to recommend that banks and insurance companies not take into account the status of special operation fighters in insurance calculations when applying for loans, said the head of the group, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak.

“Currently, military personnel are overpaying for life and health insurance due to service risks. If you refuse it, the loan rate increases,” he explained.

In addition, bills have been introduced to the State Duma on the protection of payments for participation in the SVO from write-offs in the event of bankruptcy; on the provision of monthly payments to combat veterans without application; on additional social guarantees for FSIN employees who participated in the special operation.

“At the proposal of the working group, the Ministry of Defense will inform military personnel about the right and procedure for drawing up various powers of attorney. This will allow relatives to manage the property and obligations of fighters while they are at the front,” the head of the working group concluded.
