The Russian Taekwondo Championship is taking place in Kazan, in which More than 300 taekwondo athletes from different regions of the country are participating, including athletes from the Chechen Republic.

Based on the results of the fights, Umar Orzaev took gold, winning the weight up to 76 kg. Following the results of three competitive days of the championship, Ibragim Saidov and Allan Bisaev brought silver to the national team, and Saidemin Tepsurkaev (76 kg) and Magomed Azhuev (64 kg) became bronze medalists.
