In the Zavolzhsky district, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to impose an obligation on the department of road facilities and transport of the Ivanovo region to carry out road repairs. The court satisfied these requirements. The prosecutor’s office of the Ivanovo region reported this on Thursday, April 25.

According to the press service of the department, the prosecutor’s office of the Zavolzhsky district checked the implementation of the legislation and found that the condition of the Zavolzhsk-Zarechny, Zavolzhsk-Zhazhlevo highways does not meet regulatory requirements. At the time of the inspection, there were no road signs and lighting provided for by the traffic management project; there were potholes, subsidence and breaks.

The district prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to impose an obligation on the Department of Road Facilities and Transport of the Ivanovo Region to eliminate the violations.

“The court satisfied the prosecutor’s demands. Currently, the department has concluded a contract to carry out work on the repair of the Zavolzhsk-Zarechny highway,” the report notes.
