The demand for workers in the Nizhny Novgorod region increased by 58% for the month in April 2024

Over the past month, the demand for workers in the Nizhny Novgorod region has increased by 58%. This is evidenced by data from a study conducted by a job search service.

According to the data, employers throughout the Volga region have posted more than 50 thousand new vacancies for workers, which is 37% higher than last year’s demand.

The greatest growth was recorded in the Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod regions and Chuvashia. Vacancies most often concern the positions of drivers, laborers, mechanics, plumbers, storekeepers and packers. Of the total number of vacancies, 17% are in the transport and logistics sector, 10% in car sales and repair, and 8% each in retail trade and metallurgy.

Wages for workers in the region have also increased. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the average income for workers increased by 25 thousand rubles and amounted to 70.7 thousand rubles per month.

Previously, DOMOSTROYNN.RU reported that, according to another job search site, professions from the construction industry were in the top 5 highest-paid vacancies in March in Nizhny Novgorod. Thus, in second place in the ranking was the vacancy of a construction manager for an industrial building. The salary for this position starts from 130 thousand rubles per month. In fourth place was a vacancy for a construction director in a company that builds frame houses. The future manager was promised a salary of 100 thousand per month.
