A car accident involving a timber truck and a pedestrian occurred in Tver. As it turned out, as a result of the accident, a child, a nine-year-old schoolboy, was injured, reports aif.ru with reference to the traffic police department of the local headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The collision happened on Thursday, April 25, near a house on Ordzhonikidze Street. The Mercedes timber truck was driven by a man born in 1974.
While driving, the driver hit a young boy who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing. The victim was hospitalized; there is no information yet about the child’s condition.
In connection with the incident, the traffic police reminded drivers of the need to follow traffic rules and not lose vigilance on the roads.
