An Easter exhibition opened at the Orenburg Regional Library named after Krupskaya: “Czech Republic. The world of Easter decor”

Unusual thematic exhibits were collected by Honored Worker of Russian Culture, art critic Gennady Naydanov.

– The exhibition is intimate, a small collection. All the items were brought from the Czech Republic at different times,” said Gennady Aleksandrovich. – There are only 34 Easter eggs, 5 of them are made in glass, the rest are made on living shells. Most of them are Easter eggs, where the painting is done with hot wax.

In addition to the classic Easter eggs, there are also engraved and painted with relief wax, and openwork, and with embroidery. The visual basis of the exhibition is the work of the Czech artist Josef Lada – Easter posters and postcards.

Floral design was performed by Lyudmila Makhneva. These are compositions of miniature flowers, wreaths and boutonnieres. At the exhibition you can see both embroidery and small sculptures made of glass and porcelain.
