City fountains will be launched in Belgorod on May 1

Workers continue to prepare fountains in Belgorod for opening. First, the employees of Belgorblaspolostroystvo carried out cosmetic repairs and painted individual elements.

“Commissioning works are carried out in stages. First, pumping equipment without nozzles is installed – this is how workers check the water circulation. If everything is in order, utility workers install nozzles and briefly turn on the fountain to operate in test mode,” explained the press service of the city mayor’s office.

The launch of the fountains is scheduled for May 1. During the season they will be open from 10:00 to 22:00.
