Altai Territory, Altai Republic and Kemerovo Region will become part of the All-Russian tourist route

The session participants discussed the development of a tourism project, which includes the creation of a transport route, paths for hiking and camp sites; for this purpose they will study the flora and fauna of the area, as well as the cultural and historical features of the territories.

Activities will be developed in the context of each subject of the federation. The project is being developed until the end of 2024 and will be presented to the Russian government in the first quarter of 2025.

The Greater Altai territorial planning scheme is part of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”. A state company for the development of the territory together with the Moscow General Plan Institute is participating in its development.

After the meeting, it is planned to analyze the selected territories and draw up approximate traffic patterns along tourist routes and the location of recreation centers.
