--

The Vladimir branch of the Presidential Academy, which began its activities on June 9, 1995, has a rich history and a significant place in the education system. The regional campus is one of 47 branches represented throughout the country – from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

The main task of the Vladimir branch of the Presidential Academy is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of management, economics and law. The branch actively cooperates with authorities and public organizations, providing quality education and development of human resources in the region.

Over the years of its existence, the branch has achieved significant success. Modern educational programs are implemented here, scientific research is conducted, and events are organized to exchange experience between specialists from various industries.

The Vladimir branch of RANEPA offers training programs for obtaining bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s, and postgraduate qualifications. Since April 1, 2020, the Center for Continuing Education has been operating, which implements federal projects, such as “Promotion of Employment” of the national project “Demography”, fulfills government contracts, agreements on advanced training of state civil, municipal employees and employees of federal, state, and municipal institutions. Special attention is paid to attracting small and medium-sized businesses, as well as enterprises and organizations of the region, to further training and retraining.

At the moment, the Vladimir branch of the Academy is implementing 16 current bachelor’s, specialist’s, and master’s degree programs in popular specialties.

The Vladimir branch of the Presidential Academy has more than 2,000 agreements with employers, which allows students to receive a quality education not only within the academy, but also in various companies and organizations. Such partnerships help improve the level of training of specialists and provide employment opportunities after graduation.

One of the significant agreements is the agreement between the branch and the Cosmonaut Training Center. The cooperation has been going on for more than 15 years, during which time 15 Heroes of Russia, members of the Roscosmos cosmonaut corps, have been trained at the branch. Currently, 4 more pilot-cosmonauts are studying here.

Director of the Vladimir branch Vyacheslav Kartukhin emphasizes the uniqueness of education and student atmosphere at the university:

“The Vladimir branch of the Presidential Academy is one of the leaders in the educational services market in the region. We really achieve decent, high results in many areas. At the same time, this is a great responsibility for the branch itself, which must do everything necessary to ensure that students receive a quality education in the most modern and comfortable conditions. The Presidential Academy is not only a quality brand, but also a big family. With us, every student receives sufficient attention, they are always heard and ready to help. That’s why students achieve such great success even during their studies, and graduates are in demand among leading employers in our region.”

The Vladimir branch of the Presidential Academy is proud of its young scientists. One of the striking examples is the young teacher Pavel Makarov, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Management.

Pavel Yurievich began his scientific and pedagogical activities in 2009. In May 2012, he defended his PhD thesis ahead of schedule, in April 2018 he received the title of associate professor, and in November 2020 he defended his doctoral dissertation.

In 2022, he was awarded the Departmental Award of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the “Young Scientist” Badge. Pavel Yurievich contributes to the development of student scientific work: his students annually participate and take prizes in All-Russian Olympiads and scientific work competitions in economics and management.

According to Pavel Yuryevich, the combination of outlook and specialization contributes to the high quality of education in the Vladimir branch:

“For management majors, it is important to have a good understanding of the subject and at the same time have a broad, professional and general cultural outlook. Therefore, the subjects studied include practical work, which forms applied skills. It is important that these skills fit together into a single picture, so that many jobs are interconnected across different subjects and courses.

Education is not limited to just the core curriculum. If desired, the student can go deeper into one or another aspect of his specialty. For example, students can try to prove themselves in analytics and strategy by participating in the Business Battle championship, or take part in the development and presentation of projects by becoming part of the branch’s project team. There are also scientific activities for students, there are external competitions and events in which you can participate if you wish. All this also helps to better master one’s specialty.”

The Vladimir branch of the Presidential Academy is a source of personnel for both municipal and government employees, and for the branch itself. Gleb Glebov, a teacher at the Department of Management, at the Vladimir branch received his education in two bachelor’s programs: management and jurisprudence, one master’s program in economics, and is currently a postgraduate student in the scientific specialty of economics “Management” and an active teacher in the department of management.

Gleb Evgenievich is the winner of two international research competitions “Science without borders” and “Young scientists: innovation and innovation”. Gleb Evgenievich twice became a diplomat of the 1st degree in the nominations “Best Scientific Article” in the direction of “Economics and Management”.

Gleb Evgenievich uses such forms of teaching as project activities in his teaching activities. It fully facilitates students in realizing their creative potential and individual projects:

“Orientation towards solving the tasks set by the President of Russia V.V. Putin, regarding the status of the Presidential Academy, increases the need for further development not only of the Moscow campus, but also of all its branches.

The specifics of the Vladimir branch and the Academy network as a whole open up endless possibilities for building a global ecosystem, which allows you to involve not only traditional educational partners, but also potential employers from many industries, business representatives and government authorities in the process of training professional personnel.

That is why studying here for each student becomes a step towards his formation as a highly qualified specialist. If you want to become leaders in the fields of management, economics and law, then you should go to the Presidential Academy.”
