Weekend at the Sukachev Estate
Traditionally, master classes for children and adults will be held over the weekend at the Sukachev Estate (December Events St., 112).
On April 27 at 13:00 there will be a master class on watercolor drawing. At 14:00 a master class on painting an Easter egg (wood, acrylic) will begin. On April 28 at 13:00 everyone is welcome to a master class on mixed painting techniques (wax, watercolor, ink).
The cost of participation in one master class is 500 rubles. All materials are included in it. Make an appointment by phone: (3952) 53-12-24.
New exhibition in the art gallery “Dias”
Art gallery “Dias” (40 Sedova St.) presents a new exhibition on April 26: paintings will be presented in Irkutsk for the first time Irina Chipenko (Cheboksary). The main theme of the artist is flowers.
“The vibration of the air seems to be felt in the paintings, and thanks to it, one gets the impression of an atmosphere and space in which the smooth silhouettes of bouquets, landscapes in a blurry haze and mysterious portraits of strangers live their lives,” the gallery writes about Irina Chipenko’s works.
You can visit the exhibition from 10:00 to 19:00 on gallery opening days. Ticket price is 200 rubles.
Palm fair at the Volkonsky estate
On April 28 (Sunday) from 11:00 to 17:00, the Palm Fair will be held at the Volkonsky estate (Volkonsky Lane, 10).
Willow will be sold on the estate. There will also be a flea market open throughout the day, where dishes, jewelry, souvenirs and many other necessary things will be put up for sale. Entrance to the estate is free.
The fair is also organized in the museum itself. Entrance here will cost 100 rubles. At the fair you will be able to purchase natural Siberian cosmetics, craft tea, and spiced salt. Sweets lovers will enjoy berry marshmallows, gingerbread cookies and handmade lollipops.
From 12:00 to 15:00 master classes on making willow angels will be held. Duration: 30 minutes. The cost of the master class is 100 rubles, plus the entrance ticket to the fair is 100 rubles.
Action “Youth of the Baikal region against fires” from the Ministry of Emergency Situations
On April 28 at 13:00 on the square near the Fashion Quarter shopping and entertainment complex (3rd July St., 25) the action “Youth of the Baikal region against fires” will be held. An exhibition of fire fighting equipment and a demonstration of emergency rescue equipment, as well as practical training on actions in various emergency situations, are planned.
Fire-fighting-themed quizzes and competitions will be held for children. And, of course, there will be a field kitchen from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“Glass is not trash.” Exhibition of eco-design from glass
On April 27 and 29, the Center for Contemporary Art “Fire” (Marata St., 11) will host the eco-design exhibition “Glass is not trash!”
Come see the interesting idea of the authors from 12:00 to 20:00. Free admission.
May Day rally
On May 1, a solemn event is planned at the “Irkutsk – City of Labor Valor” stela. Starts at 15:00.
Veterans, representatives of public organizations, authorities, the honor guard of the East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, a military orchestra and cadets of the Patriot city center will take part in the event.
The program will end with a performance by the creative group “Line of Drummers” of the All-Russia Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the launch of a daytime fireworks display with charges of colored smoke.
