The heating season in the housing stock of Tver will end on April 27.
The heating season is coming to an end in Tver. On April 27, heating will begin to be turned off in residential buildings; a corresponding decree was issued by the administration of the city of Tver.
Heat supply and heating network organizations have been asked to turn off heating from April 27, since, in accordance with federal legislation, the heating period ends when the average daily air temperature is above +8ºC for five days in a row. According to forecasts, appropriate weather conditions will be established in Tver by April 27. At the same time, in the event of a sharp change in weather conditions, until May 12, heating equipment and heating networks must be maintained in working condition for the possible activation of heating when the average daily outside air temperature drops below +8 degrees.
As for social institutions, heating is traditionally turned off there later than in residential buildings. Shutdown dates for each institution are determined by the education department of the Tver city administration and the Ministry of Health of the Tver region.
