Nizhny Novgorod. 25th of April. NTA-Volga region – Nizhny Novgorod artists will take part in the Days of Nizhny Novgorod in Bukhara, reports the press service of the city administration.

According to information, Nizhny Novgorod culture in Uzbekistan will be represented by the chamber choir “Nizhny Novgorod”, the chamber musical theater named after V.T. Stepanov, the folk song ensemble “Lyubava”, the State Museum of A.M. Gorky, the model library named after F.M. Dostoevsky and leading teachers of children’s art schools.

According to Svetlana Gulyaeva, director of the Nizhny Novgorod Department of Culture, a bright and large-scale cultural program has been prepared for residents of the Uzbek sister city.

“We are bringing to Bukhara a carefully selected program and groups that are well known not only in the city, but also far beyond its borders. In addition, in such meetings, mutual exchange is extremely important: experience, ideas, creative developments, and we are glad that we will have an opportunity to communicate with colleagues,” noted Svetlana Gulyaeva.

The director of the department added that the Nizhny Novgorod Days in Bukhara are an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences with Uzbek colleagues, as well as visit libraries, theaters and art schools.

Earlier it was reported that GAZ products were presented at the Innoprom. Central Asia exhibition in Tashkent. At the same time, the head of the capital of the Volga region, Yuri Shalabaev, announced the holding of the Days of Nizhny Novgorod in Bukhara.

Earlier it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod region entered into a cooperation agreement with the Navoi region of Uzbekistan within the framework of the fourth International Exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia”.

“The trade turnover between the Nizhny Novgorod region and Uzbekistan has grown significantly over the past year, and we continue to work on developing bilateral relations both with the country as a whole and with its individual regions. In 2022 at Innoprom. Central Asia” a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Nizhny Novgorod and Navoi regions, and today it has grown into a full-fledged agreement. A joint Russian-Uzbek machine-building enterprise has already been opened in the Navoi region, and we are striving to strengthen cooperation,” said Gleb Nikitin, governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The agreement involves close cooperation in a wide range of areas: industry, trade, investment and innovation, agriculture, healthcare, education, culture, tourism, sports.
