The IV Art and Industrial Exhibition and Forum “Unique Russia” will be held in the capital’s Gostiny Dvor complex from May 2 to 12. The event is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the press service of the organizers reports.
The exhibition will demonstrate the entire variety of decorative and applied arts, jewelry and folk art crafts of Russia, as well as painting, historical and museum exhibitions, Orthodox art, sculpture, architecture, and antiques.
The event will be accompanied by business, cultural and competition programs, fashion shows and presentations.
The purpose of the exhibition-forum is to show Russia as a country of unique opportunities, which carefully preserves and develops the traditions of a multinational people, the diversity of culture and folk art, and the identity of each region.
As part of the business and cultural program of the exhibition, the “Media Russia” forum, the “Creative Russia” business forum, the International Musical Eco-Cultural Festival “VOTETNO!”, the I Eurasian Civilization Forum and other events will be held.
Large-scale events within the framework of the exhibition will be the “Looking to the East” festival and Fashion Days of Russian designers. The forum will also host special events dedicated to Easter and the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The organizers of the exhibition-forum “Unique Russia” are the association “Organizations of folk arts and crafts, craftsmen and artists “Heritage and Traditions”. In addition, the Unique Country Foundation and the Foundation for the Development of the Art Industry and Jewelry Art make contributions to the event.
