The authorities explained the procedure for providing support measures to Belgorod entrepreneurs. Acting Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the Belgorod Region Maxim Gusev reported that financial assistance will be provided to industrial enterprises and SMEs within the framework of the order signed by Mikhail Mishustin on April 19.

Belgorod region on its basis will be sent from above 2 billion rubles from the reserve fund of the Government of the Russian Federation. From this amount 1.251 billion rubles will be used to support the economic bloc in two directions.

987 million rubles will be allocated to large Belgorod enterprises affected by shelling with the amount of direct damage from 100 million rubles. The funds will be used for reconstruction, modernization and increasing productive potential.

SMEs in the consumer market, which turned out to be the most vulnerable due to a sharp drop in consumer demand, will be allocated 264 million rubles.

According to Gusev, the amount of support will be calculated based on the minimum wage and the number of employees who were registered at the enterprise as of December 31, 2023.
