The selection of project participants who will become civil servants in the future continues. It will be completed at the end of 2024.

The first fighters have already completed online testing and are awaiting results. During the selection process, they solved tasks to determine managerial potential. Candidates for participation in the Leaders of Russia competition undergo the same tests.

Military personnel who are currently in the Northern Military District zone will also be able to participate in the “Time of Heroes” program. For them, 45 remote assessment points will operate throughout the country in branches of the Presidential Academy. From May 15, such a point will open in Chelyabinsk on the basis of RANEPA. Fighters can find out detailed information about the program and selection stages on the website vremyaheroev.rf. You can also select the date, time and place for testing here. For example, a special operation participant will be able to complete tasks while on vacation.

Some of the soldiers who passed the test explained why they would like to try themselves in the civil service. One of the contenders, Alexander, was wounded during the fighting. Due to health reasons, he will no longer be able to return to the front line, but is ready to help the country in another area. “When I was in the hospital, I heard that the president announced the start of an educational program for participants and veterans of the Northern Military District. I consulted with my wife and decided to try myself. In the future, I would like to work on the development of the aircraft industry so that we create our own new beautiful aircraft,” said the SVO member.

Another participant in the program, Vladislav, admitted that he had long wanted to enter the RANEPA, but when a special military operation began, the man firmly decided that he would defend the Motherland. “Now I have a unique chance to realize my dream. For me, the Time of Heroes program is an excellent opportunity to prove myself not only as a military man, but also to make a difference as a public servant. I will be able to pass on my experience to the future generation,” the young man shared.

Fighter Eduard, who also passed the selection test, believes that the “Time of Heroes” program is the right initiative. “To govern the country, it is necessary to attract those people for whom the country is important, for whom the defense of the Motherland and Fatherland is not an empty phrase. I am not indifferent to what will happen in the country next. My daughter is nine years old, and I want her to live in a happy country,” the fighter said.

For reference:

“Time of Heroes” is a development program for participants in a special military operation. It is being implemented on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The goal of the program is to prepare highly qualified, competent managers from among the SVO participants to work in state and municipal authorities, as well as in state-owned companies. SVO soldiers will undergo training for two years at the RANEPA Higher School of Public Administration on the basis of the Senezh Management Workshop. During this time, participants in the special operation will be trained in modern management methods and technologies, and teamwork.
