Entrance turnstiles for access to passenger boats are being installed at the Grafskaya pier, the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of Sevastopol reported.

The turnstiles will be equipped with terminals for contactless fare payment, machines that allow you to purchase single tickets, and light indicators indicating whether access is allowed or access is prohibited.

In addition, information desks with passenger boat schedules and a ship arrival forecast board will be installed.

The Department of Transport noted that each turnstile is adapted for visually impaired and low-mobility groups of the population.

“They will also help ensure safety and reliable closure of the passage area and will limit unauthorized access to the pier. Turnstiles will also appear at the entrances to the berths located on Zakharov Square and in Artillery Bay,” the Department of Transport reported.

According to the department, all turnstiles will interact with each other online and will also be integrated with the passenger counting system.
