As part of the 375th anniversary of the fire service of Russia, employees of the Russian Guard, together with Kaluga firefighters, conducted tactical training, which took place on the basis of the gas and smoke protection complex in the 2nd fire and rescue unit of the Main Directorate. The personnel of the Russian Guard practiced the actions of firefighters blindly, as if at a real fire. The complex simulates different situations in a real fire: narrow openings, collapsing floors or ceilings, a web of wires, debris or furniture. A separate element is a narrow metal box in which you cannot turn around again.
Our firefighters spoke about their trips to fires, about constant preparations and training at the training point. They acted as assistants for the National Guard, helping them and showing them how to move and behave correctly in case of fire. The training was held at a high level, the employees showed excellent physical fitness, team spirit and mutual assistance. Such training is carried out to competently respond to various emergency threats, in order to improve the coherence of unit actions and, of course, to exchange experience.
