Moscow and Kaliningrad were connected by an additional daily train, which began running on Thursday, April 25. The press service of Russian Railways reports this.
“An additional passenger train No. 147/148 Moscow – Kaliningrad has been appointed. The route includes stops at stations in the Smolensk region – Smolensk, Safonovo, Vyazma and Gagarin,” the message says.
Train No. 148 will depart from Kaliningrad daily at 20:35 local time, arriving in Smolensk the next day at 13:53, and in Moscow at 20:12. Return train No. 147 will depart from the Belorussky railway station in Moscow at 14:15, arrive in Smolensk at 19:34, and in Kaliningrad the next day at 10:56 local time.
In the Kaliningrad region, additional “dacha” trains began running in mid-April.
