Sevastopol residents are interested in when the city fountains will start working—the April 25 meeting of the Sevastopol government began with this message from the governor. It was proposed to shed light on the situation. Deputy Governor Evgeniy Gorlova.
The official said that technically all city fountains are ready to be turned on. At the same time, tenders to determine the organization that will be involved in their maintenance and conservation at the end of the season have not yet been held, and some fountains require “programmer work.” Gorlov did not name the date of the planned inclusion.
“Is it possible by May 1st?” — Mikhail Razvozhaev clarified.

The rest of the fountains, judging by his answer, will start operating around May 6th.
“I think we’ll launch it,” Evgeny Gorlov said not too confidently about this.
Today there are 30 fountains in Sevastopol, of which 26 serve Parks and Squares. Another 4 are administered by municipalities.
At the end of the conversation, the governor once again recorded the agreement reached: the fountains in the center will start operating on May 1, the rest – on May 6.
“We’ll do everything,” Evgeny Gorlov promised.
Let us remind you: last year the fountains were launched by May 6, explaining that bad weather prevented them from doing so earlier.
