The decision to deprive the famous Yaroslavl lawyer of his status was made by the Bar Chamber of the Yaroslavl Region. As the lawyer himself told a YarNews correspondent, this happened because of a complaint.
In 2023, Oleg Krupochkin dealt with the issue of seizure of property. The litigation ended, and then it suddenly turned out that the client had filed a complaint against the lawyer. The ensuing proceedings led to the qualification commission of the Yaroslavl Region Bar Association ultimately finding violations in Oleg Krupochkin’s work and depriving him of his lawyer status.
The Bar Association itself did not comment on the decision, citing the fact that the data is confidential. Now Oleg Krupochkin has already appealed the decision, and he also asked the court to suspend its action. Krupochkin is known as a defense lawyer in a criminal case of another ex-lawyer and ex-municipal deputy Vladimir Zubkov.
