The first to start sowing spring crops were farmers from the Akbulak, Krasnogvardeisky, Kurmanaevsky, Pervomaisky, Tashlinsky and Totsky districts. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Orenburg region reports that 3.4 thousand hectares have already been sown.

In 2024, the area of ​​spring sowing will be 3 million 246.8 thousand hectares, including spring grains and legumes – 1 million 886.2 thousand hectares.

To date, April 25, farmers have harrowed an area of ​​883 thousand hectares, which is 32% of the plan. The leaders in moisture closure in the fields are Ilek district – 77.3 thousand hectares (71%), Abdulinsky district – 48.7 thousand hectares (65%), Tashlinsky district – 46.5 thousand hectares (57%) and Buguruslan district – 45.8 thousand hectares (55%).

At the same time, work is underway to fertilize winter grain crops. According to operational data, regional farms have fed 249.9 thousand hectares, or 58% of the plan. Nine municipalities have completed feeding winter crops. Among them are Aleksandrovsky, Belyaevsky, Grachevsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Matveevsky, Oktyabrsky, Ponomarevsky, Totsky districts and the city of Orenburg.
