The moment of a collision with a child cyclist was caught on video on a new street in Voronezh

The highway becomes a concentration point for accidents.

More and more dangerous situations are happening on the recently opened Krynina Street in Voronezh. Just today, April 25, local residents reported two accidents.

In the morning there was a collision of cars, and in the afternoon there was a collision with a child who was riding a bicycle.

The moment of the collision was captured on one of the CCTV cameras installed near the accident site.

The footage shows how the young cyclist, without getting up from his two-wheeled horse, rode along the roadway, following the direction of the man who was walking in front of him.

At some point, the car at low speed and the bicycle come into contact, causing the boy to be thrown a little to the side, but he eventually stayed on his feet.

After the incident, the man approached the driver’s window and, apparently, spoke in a raised voice with the driver of the car. Then the car drove away a little and stopped nearby. Then the video is interrupted.

There were no serious injuries.

It is worth noting that the new Krynina street is becoming a concentration point for traffic accidents.

According to Notepad readers, the street lighting has not worked there for four days, there is also no light in the overpass, and the elevators are not working. The traffic light, similarly, is not working for the fourth day.

The mayor’s office commented on what was happening on the new street:

“As for the crossings on Krynina Street, the elevator equipment located there is currently undergoing commissioning work. Based on the results, acceptance is carried out, after which the process of transferring the transitions to municipal ownership begins for assignment to the district government, which will ensure the possibility of their further maintenance. Currently, three ground crossings located near the overground ones continue to function. The shutdown of the traffic light was caused by technical reasons; its operation will be restored in the near future.”
