After the release of the series from FBK, everyone around (again) is arguing about the 1990s. Tell us how you remember (or imagine) this time. There is only one rule – you can write only three words

In April, Alexei Navalny’s team launched a new documentary project – the series “Traitors”. In it, Maria Pevchikh talks about people who, according to FBK, laid the foundation for the Putin regime, for example, about the first President of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin and his entourage, oligarchs Boris Berezovsky and Roman Abramovich, as well as other key characters of the 1990s. The series provoked a lot of controversy on social networks – it was especially actively criticized by witnesses and participants in the events of those years, as well as by researchers of this period. Many of us also remember well what happened in that decade. And if they don’t remember, then they vividly imagine this time, because in Russia it has long turned into a myth. Tell Meduza how you remember the 1990s—or how you imagine them if you were a child then (or maybe you weren’t even born yet, but you heard a lot from relatives about life in those years). Important – write only three words that you personally think most accurately describe the Russian 1990s.
