The sale of alcohol in Kirov on May 9 is allowed from 08:00 to 23:00. The corresponding rules are spelled out in the regional law of December 8, 2015 No. 600-ZO “On the establishment of additional restrictions on the time, conditions and places of retail sale of alcoholic beverages, places of retail sale of alcoholic products when providing public catering services in the Kirov region.” It is prohibited to sell alcohol only on last call, International Children’s Day – June 1, Youth Day – June 27 and Knowledge Day – September 1.
Where is it prohibited to sell alcohol?
Despite the absence of a ban on the sale of alcohol in the Kirov region, there are a number of places where you cannot buy it. Their list includes:
- venues for public events;
- catering outlets with an area of less than 50 sq. meters;
- basements, socles, first floors of apartment buildings;
- areas of recreation, sports and tourism.
